Meet Andy
Andy has over 38 years of experience in health care. As a tenured pediatric nurse with over 28 years of experience she has taken care of thousands of children. Andy’s interest in high quality alternative health care took her to acupuncture school at AIAM where she graduated summa cum laude and also completed an internship in Beijing China.
With a lifelong interest in essential oils, Andy has also earned a clinical certification in aromatherapy. She has taken this knowledge to help in setting up an aromatherapy program at NCH. Additional training in Nutrition Response testing and acu-yoga help to provide patients with an encompassing experience to help balance their health. Helping to pioneer pediatric acupuncture as a common complementary approach medical approach has led Andy to recently complete a pediatric acupuncture certification with Dr Julian Scott.
Currently Andy is affiliated with Nationwide Children’s Hospital where she works as an acupuncturist, and also has a private practice in Chillicothe and Worthington.
Lecturing both to the community and professionals on a local and national level is important to Andy to aide in the education of how to take better care of ourselves.
